Privacy Policy

Kickspeed is built so that the most sensitive thing it touches — video of you or your child training — never leaves the phone. This policy describes exactly what the app does and does not do.

Videos

Test recordings are analysed entirely on your device, using Apple's on-device Vision framework, while the camera is running. The video is never saved: the app reads the frames live, keeps only the numbers it measured, and discards the frames. No video, and no individual video frame, is ever uploaded to our servers or to anyone else's. There is no server-side copy, and the app contains no code path that could upload one.

Your results

Your scores (times, jump heights, shuttle distances) and your profile (age band, position, goal) are stored only on your device. There is no server and no account, so nothing about them leaves your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes them. Results contain no video and no images.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to tell the app whether a subscription is active. For this, RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier generated on your device and the receipt information Apple provides — not your name, email, videos or results.

Analytics and tracking

Kickspeed contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking. We see only the aggregate, anonymised statistics Apple provides to all developers through App Store Connect. We do not build a profile of you and we do not sell or share data with data brokers.

Notifications

The retest reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device. It involves no server and can be turned off in the app or in iOS Settings at any time.

Children

Kickspeed is a sports-performance app and it is not directed at children under 13; we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because videos never leave the device and there is no account, a young athlete can use every measurement feature without any personal data being collected.

Your rights

Everything the app knows about you is on your device, and deleting the app removes it. We hold no personal data about you on any server, so there is nothing for us to export or erase on your behalf. If you have any question about your data, write to us at the address below and we will respond promptly.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Kickspeed changes what is stored or where, we will update this page and state the new date above.
